Do you sell barricades, or do you only rent them?
Both. Buyers Barricades offers barricades and traffic control equipment for rent and purchase, depending on the type of equipment you need. Contact our team and we can help determine the best option for your project.
Can I pay my Buyers Barricades invoice online?
At this time, we do not offer online invoice payments. Contact our team if you need assistance with an invoice or payment.
Can Buyers Barricades create a traffic control plan?
Yes. We create both engineered and non-engineered traffic control plans (TCPs). Standard TCPs typically have a turnaround time of approximately 48–72 hours. Engineered traffic control plans generally take 2–4 business days, depending on the city, project requirements and approval process.
Is Buyers Barricades hiring?
We’re always looking for great people to join our team. Buyers Barricades accepts applications throughout the year and keeps applications on file for future opportunities.
Do I need a CDL to operate a TMA truck?
No. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required to operate a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) unless the specific vehicle or operating circumstances independently require one. Operators must still meet all applicable company, vehicle and safety requirements.
Do I really need a traffic control permit?
In most cities, yes. Permit requirements vary by municipality and project, but performing work without required permits could result in your project being delayed or shut down by the city.
We recommend confirming all permit requirements before work begins.
Does Buyers Barricades handle traffic control permits?
We do not submit permit applications or pay permit fees on behalf of customers. However, our team can help direct you to the appropriate city website or permitting department where your documents need to be uploaded and submitted.
Do you sell and rent traffic control signs?
Yes. Buyers Barricades offers a variety of traffic control and work zone signs for both rental and purchase. Custom signs are available for purchase only.
Do you rent or sell temporary rumble strips?
Yes. Temporary rumble strips are available for both rental and purchase. Our team can help you determine the appropriate setup for your project.
Do you rent steel road plates?
Yes. Buyers Barricades offers steel road plates for rental. Steel plates from our rental inventory are not available for purchase.
Can someone meet me at my jobsite to determine what traffic control I need?
Yes. Our team can walk the jobsite with you to better understand the project, traffic conditions and traffic control needs. From there, we can help determine the appropriate equipment and services for the job.
What is your typical lead time for traffic control services?
Lead times vary depending on the project and services required. As a general guideline:
- Traffic control plans: approximately 48–72 hours
- Scheduling a traffic control setup: typically 1–2 days
- Engineered traffic control plans: approximately 2–4 business days

Does Buyers Barricades provide traffic control services on holidays?
Yes. We understand that roadwork and traffic control needs don’t always happen during normal business hours. Buyers Barricades provides traffic control services on holidays when scheduled or required.
Is Buyers Barricades open on Saturdays and Sundays?
Our DFW office is open Saturdays from 7:00 AM to noon and closed on Sundays. Scheduled traffic control operations may take place outside regular office hours.
Can I purchase Buyers Barricades rental equipment that is already on my jobsite?
No. Equipment assigned from our rental inventory is not available for purchase. If you would like to purchase traffic control equipment, our team can provide separate pricing for available new equipment.
Do you offer weekly traffic control equipment rental rates?
We offer daily and monthly rental pricing rather than weekly pricing. We’re happy to provide both options so you can determine which makes the most sense for your project.
How quickly can Buyers Barricades produce a custom traffic sign?
Custom signs are typically produced within 2–3 business days after the sign proof has been approved. Production times may vary depending on the sign and order requirements.
Accounts must be in good standing, or prepayment may be required before production begins.
Does Buyers Barricades provide flagging operations?
Yes. Buyers Barricades provides professional flagging operations and traffic control personnel for projects throughout our service areas.
We also offer flagger training classes for organizations that need employees trained in proper flagging procedures.
Can Buyers Barricades provide law enforcement officers for traffic control?
Yes. Buyers Barricades can coordinate law enforcement officers when required for traffic control operations, depending on project requirements, location and availability.
